With a passion for coaching and a talent for winning,Marritta Gillcrease, coach, ACE (Athletic Culture Expert) and founder of Rita Speaks Life LLC, has made it her mission to lead her clients to victory – whether they’re in the locker room or a boardroom.

Marritta uses her background as a professional athlete and an award-winning coach to guide decision-makers, leaders and influencers on how to create a “culture of belonging” so they can optimize performance for those they serve.

Her clients include athletic directors, head coaches, principals, student support service providers, upward bound directors and human resource managers, to name a few. As a part of her commitment to the continual process of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, she offers workshops and consulting services to assist corporate entities in creating a more diverse and inclusive culture.

Marritta, who most recently served as Assistant Coach of Women’s Basketball at Rider University, Lawrenceville, N.J., leverages her leadership and team-building skills to position her clients to develop their own “dream” teams within their respective organizations. Among her many accomplishments on and off the court, Marritta is most proud of launching her own company, publishing and narrating her first book, “Total Domination: 10 Keys to Unleash Your Inner Champion,” and winning the 2020 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) with the Lady Broncs. 

Marritta can be found modeling and hosting her podcast and cooking show when she’s not coaching or consulting clients – all examples of the multi-dimensional, authentic success she encourages in others.
